The gun is totally badass to look at and hold, its awesome how with that thumbhole grip you can really just get a good grip on the thumbhole with you right hand and it takes no effort at all to raise the shotgun up with one hand until it is caught by your second and baby your locked and loaded and you have the attention on anyone this beast is pointed at. Although I must also include the negative. I only got one shot out of my brand new savage 320 security thumbhole 12 gauge and it jammed all to hell. Not sure what the issue is, the company sent me a return label in a very timely manner and I shipped it back to the store that I bought it and haven't heard any news yet. I am assuming there will be no cost to me. Even with this dissapointment that the gun jammed, I still can't wait to get my gun back and I am sure there will be no further issues with the gun. xxxxxx
This gun is awesome. You can hold it down by your side and almost raise it up like a pistol, I'm 50 and broken up but I can still hold this gun down my side and lift it right up and catch the pump with my left hand and boom boom boom. Sweet. Looks great, feels great and I will tell you again, with that 18.5" barrel you can just raise it up with your thumb in the thumbhole and be ready for some serious action. Love it. Gonna love it more if I can get a forend grip for it, and I'm close to making that happen. But to make a forend grip for it requires 4 additional items, (the forend grip, a picatinny rail, a dovetail rail and 4 small screws. You have to drill into your forend to attach the dovetail so be prepared to take it to a more experienced gun owner. I didn't feel comfortable drilling into my forend so I took it to a buddy who is more mechanical than me.
